Quality certification.
A) Gears:
· Quality certificate for the chemical analysis (with the indication of the amount of hydrogen) and austenitic grain of the case hardened material. To execute at 100%.
· Control certificate of the non-metallic housings. To be executed at each casting.
· Certificate for the ultrasounds control carried out on rough shaped pieces. To execute at 100%.
· Certificates for the thermal treatments with the recording of the temperatures diagram.
· Certificate for the analysis on penetrating liquids, Magnetoscopic or Barkhausen magnetoelastic test, on the hardened teeth carried out upon completing of the machining. To execute at 100%.
· Certificate for the surface hardness and of the hardness at the tooth base. To execute at 100%.
· Check of the sample piece for case hardening execution with the relief of the micro-hardness on the test piece. To execute for each heat / forging material group.
· Certificate of the dimensional control complete with section, helical and pitch measures diagram. To execute at least for the 20% on 3D control machine.
· Certificates for the dimensional control of the gears bore and where shrink / interference fitting is configured.
B) Shafts:
· Quality certificate for the chemical analysis of the material.
· Certificate for the ultrasounds control carried out on rough shaped pieces.
· Certificate for the thermal treatment.
· If there are hardened surfaces, a certificate is required for the analysis with fluorescent liquids carried out upon completion of the machining.
· Certificates for the dimensional controls of the shafts journals where shrink / interference fitting is configured.
C) Housing:
· Certificate of the plates material and ultrasounds class.
· Annealing diagram.
· Magnetoscopic test of the main welding.
· Certificates for the dimensional controls of the bearing bores and inter-axis measurements for the gearing stages.
D) Mechanical test
· Functioning test.
· Teeth backlash and contacts. The design range values of backlash are also be quoted. The contacts records will be presented full size and by Scotch-tape print method on white paper - they
will be in colour form. A simple gearbox drawing will be included demonstrating the reduction location of each of the prints and the backlash results. The extremities of the teeth are to be
clearly marked on the prints.
· Bearings clearances. A simple drawing of the gearbox will also be presented to clearly locate the positions relating to bearing clearances data.
· Temperature survey. A simple drawing of the gearbox will also be presented to clearly locate the measurement positions relating to bearing temperatures data.
· Noise.
· Vibrations. A simple drawing of the gearbox will also be presented to clearly locate the measurement positions relating to vibrations data.
· Lay-out dimensions checking. A simple drawing of the gearbox will also be presented with all the prior agreed dimensions to be checked, listing the nominal values & the actual measured values.
The supplier will provide a list of the tests described on this paragraph with the date of the performance of the tests.
